Carolyn Marie Jenkins, 36, of Salisbury, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020 in Hagerstown, Maryland. She was born on October 7, 1984 in Salisbury, Maryland, the daughter of Florence Ellen Elliott and Eric Lee Jenkins, Sr. Carolyn worked at Sam's Club in Hagerstown. She loved animals, especially her three dogs. She had a big heart and was always willing to help anyone in need. She was very talented and creative and her dream was to one day go to Africa to help save the elephants. She is survived by her mother, Florence Ellen Elliott; father, Eric Lee Jenkins, Sr.; brothers, Eric Lee Jenkins, Jr., Justin Jenkins, and Zachary Jenkins; step-sister, Melanie Raum; grandmother, Shirley Jenkins; best friend, Megan Washburn; uncles, John Elliott, David Elliott, and Mark Jenkins; aunts, Chris Elliott, Carolyn Shabec, and Linda Mullen; and her companion, Mark Knight. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mildred and Samuel Elliott; grandfather, Clifford Jenkins; an aunt, Debbie Moore; and an uncle, John Jenkins. Due to current gathering restrictions, a private memorial service will be held. Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Home in Delmar.
