Carmelia "Camille" Marchese Fico, 80, of Delmar, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 13, 1942, in Passaic, New Jersey, a daughter of the late Joseph Marchese and Angie Arabella Noto. Camille, as most knew her, retired after 30 years in customer service for Toys "R" Us in New Jersey and Salisbury. She loved people and helping those in need whenever she could. For many years she enjoyed spending her days caring for the elderly. Family and friends remember her for her happy spirit and signature smile, her love for arts and crafts, especially ceramics and her wonderful cooking. She also loved to travel and make lifelong memories with family and friends. She will be sorely missed by her beloved four-legged companions, "Trey" and "Pugs." She is survived by sons, Joseph S. Fico and wife Jacinda, Ralph Fico and Chris Fico; grandchildren, Jade, Brenton, Cassandra, Zachary, Angela, Chris, Jr. and Shauna; several great grandchildren; a brother, Joe Marchese; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Frances Iorlano and Margie Demote; and a brother, Steven Marchese. Services will be private.
