Charles "Buck" Tubbs passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at the age of 83. He was born June 27, 1940, and was the son of the late Frank and Myrtle Tubbs. He was born and raised in Ocean City, MD where he attended Stephen Decatur High School. Buck retired from Crown, Cork & Seal in 1998 after 31 years of service. On October 15, 1965, he married his wife, Ruth Snyder Tubbs, and had a son, Chuck, who predeceased him in 1999. He is survived by his sisters, Minnie Wilkins and Sarah Tubbs, and brothers, Harry Tubbs (Dale) and Louis Tubbs (Diane). He was predeceased by sisters, Marie and Joyce Tubbs, and brother, Frank Tubbs. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at 11:30 a.m. at Short Funeral Home in Delmar where family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30. Interment will follow at Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to a charity of your choice.
