He was great with electronics and always enjoyed dabbling in new technology. He was a wonderful father, husband and son. In his younger days he was a great soccer player. He loved sharing his passion for soccer with his son, Nathan, and proudly spent the past few years coaching his team. He also enjoyed the beach and was an avid New York Giants fan. Bryan recently started attending St. George's United Methodist Church in Delmar. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Jennifer Kowalski Van Zandt, who he married on March 4, 2006; a son, Nathan Robert Van Zandt; step-children, Allyson, Brandon and Christopher Thompson; a sister, Kristina Ann Riggin and husband, Steven; a grandmother, Norma L.
