Bruce Edward Kenney, Sr., 69, of Delmar passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at his home in Delmar. He worked for George & Lynch Construction for 25 years. Bruce enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and the outdoors. He loved his dogs Salty and Pepper and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Katharine M. Kenney; a son, Bruce Kenney, Jr. and his wife Sandy; a daughter, Faith Richardson; four grandchildren, Chasiti Schaub, Lynn Kenney, Will Kenney, and Robert Richardson; and two great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove Street in Delmar. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Following the memorial service a time of fellowship will be held at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 32827 Old Stage Road in Laurel.
