Brenda Ann Carey, 77, of Hebron, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore surrounded by her family. She was born on May 18, 1944 in Salisbury, a daughter of the late Calvin and Ida Lewis. Brenda retired from the CVS in West Ocean City after many years of service. She was a people person and loved doing for others. She loved spending time with her family, and always showed compassion for others. In her free time she enjoyed shopping, going to the casino and was an avid reader. Brenda also enjoyed gardening and spending time outside. She is survived by her son, Kurt D. Elliott and his wife Carrie of Willards; a grandson, Jakob Elliott; nieces, Cathy Venables, Thelma Lewis, and Holly Jones; and a nephew, Billy Dotson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Granville James Elliott and Eugene Carey; and siblings, Raymond Lewis, Lloyd Lewis, Hilda Dotson, Jeanette Ellis and Wanda Tull. A celebration of Brenda's life will be held at a later time at New Hope Church in Willards.
