DELMAR- Barbara Ann Tull, 78, of Delmar, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Wilmington, Delaware on June 3, 1941, daughter of the late Clifton Kinnikin and Sallie (LeCates) Kinnikin Moore. Barbara graduated from Laurel High school with the class of 1960 then went on to earn her associates degree from the Goldey Beacom School of Business in 1962. She was very active helping others in the Delmar community and her church. At First Baptist Church, she was a member of the choir for many years and also enjoyed volunteering at Harvest Ministries. Other memberships included the Nanticoke Senior Center and the Whirlaways Square Dance Club. For many years she worked at the Gant shirt factory as a seamstress. Later she worked at Peninsula Gastro Associates as a receptionist before retiring in 2011. She loved her work and genuinely loved talking to people and helping however she could. In addition to her church, her true love was her family and friends. NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt, reading, tending to her flowers, bus trips and shopping trips were also some of her favorite activities. She is survived by 2 sons, Michael A. Tull and Marvin W. Tull and wife Melissa; 3 grandchildren, Scott Tull and wife Julie, Emily Jervis and husband Kyle and Matthew Tull; a sister, Louise Marine and husband Jim; and several nieces and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Medford Tull (1982) and her brother, Donald Kinnikin (1979). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Short Funeral Home, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00. Interment will be held privately at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Coastal Hospice, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802.
