Barbara Parker (Whipple) Robertson of Delmar, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, her 94th birthday. She was a resident at Lakeside at Mallard Landing in Salisbury. She was born on February 28, 1924 in Ramsey, New Jersey, a daughter of the late Raymond and Adelaide (Bellows) Whipple. Barbara was a long time active member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Delmar, having served as a Sunday School teacher, choir member, President of The Episcopal Church Women, and Alter Guild director. She was also a long time co-owner, with her husband, of Charlie's Print Shop in Salisbury and a talented artist, in particular remembered for her reproduction antique dolls and miniature creations. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte Lynn and Thomas L. Trice, IV of Salisbury; grandchildren, Thomas Charles Trice (Kerri) of Port St. Lucie Florida, Douglas Gray Trice of Delmar, and Andrew Michael Trice (Marta) of Salisbury; great grandchildren, Tyler, Cassidy, Matthew, Sarah, Rebekah, Olivia, Maxwell, Natalie, and Zachary Trice; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Vernon Robertson; a son, Raymond Gray Robertson; and sisters, Marian Luckhurst and Edith Jones. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at All Saints Episcopal Church on 10th and Grove Street in Delmar. A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. The Reverend Kenneth Athey will officiate. Interment will follow the service in St. Stephens Cemetery in Delmar.
