Barbara Lee Moore, 82, of Delmar, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014 at her home in Delmar, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 20, 1931 in Ridgely, Maryland, a daughter of the late Reuben and Eva Buckle. Barbara loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She is survived by her husband, Charles Terry "C.T." Moore; two daughters, Bonnie Collins (Rudy) of Seaford, and Terri Fletcher (Terry) of Delmar; two sons, Milton Blockston (Jorita) of Virginia and Tay Moore (Julie) of Delmar; a brother, Leon Buckle of Ridgely; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Ray Blockston and Tim Moore; a daughter, Joann Tull; four brothers, Theodore, Benedict, Louis and Mervin Buckle; and two sisters, Doris Eaton and Joyce Schuyler. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at the Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove Street in Delmar. Family and friends may call one hour prior to the service. Pastor James Hitch will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Stephens Cemetery in Delmar.
