Anna Belle Pusey, 88, of Seaford, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Lifecare at Lofland Park in Seaford. She was born on December 22, 1925 in Seaford, a daughter of the late Oliver and Carrie Jester. Anna was a member of the Laurel American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She worked many years as a seamstress at the garment company in Blades. She enjoyed cooking for her family, canning and crocheting. She is survived by her children, Wayne Pusey and his wife Sharon, Jeffery Pusey and his wife Brenda and Craig Pusey and his wife Christina, all of Laurel; a son-in-law, Larry Cooper of Delmar; eight grandchildren, Ronald Cooper, Michael Cooper, Linda Birney, John Pusey, Wade Pusey, Shannon Pusey, Benjamin Pusey, Owen Pusey, and Meghan Pusey; seven great grandchildren; two step grandchildren, Aaron Solway and Rayne Lawrence; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Pusey; her children, John Pusey, Diane Cooper and Richard Pusey; a brother, Oliver Jester; and a sister, Doris Haines. In memory of Mrs. Pusey, contributions may be sent to Lofland Park Center in remembrance of Anna Belle Pusey, 715 King Street, Seaford, DE 19973. A graveside memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 4, 2014 at St. Stephens Cemetery in Delmar. Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Home in Delmar.
