Delmar- Ann Bell Myers, 87, of Delmar, died Sunday, November 25, 2012 at Salisbury Rehab and Nursing Center. She was born April 1, 1925 in Eckhart, Maryland, a daughter of the late Pierce Albert Myers and Eva (Orndorf) Myers. Ms. Myers enjoyed being around people and enjoyed being a caregiver for the elderly for a number of years. She loved cleaning house and will be remembered for always having a spotless house. She is survived by 2 daughters, Darlene Goodman of Delmar, with whom she lived, and Deborah Botterill of Baltimore; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Roy Douglas Myers, Jr.; a daughter, Ann Yvonne Banks; and 10 brothers and sisters. She was also preceded in death by Roy Oliver Myers, the father of her children. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Short Funeral Home in Delmar, where family and friends may call from 1:00 to 2:00. A graveside committal service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron. Pastor Howard Travers will officiate.
