Alvin Kirk Strobel, 77, of Delmar passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at his home. He was born on April 20, 1943 in Baltimore, Maryland, a son of the late Alvin M. Strobel and Inez (Turner) Strobel. Kirk proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force as an Airman Third Class. He worked as a communications tech for AT&T in Baltimore until his retirement in 1990. He loved to draw and was an avid reader of books and magazines. He will be remembered by his family as a very giving person. He is survived by his loving wife, Della Strobel; uncle, Edward Hawkins, Jr.; best friend, Newton Mallard; close friends, Michael and Joyce Hogan and Franklin and Amanda Walker; cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Weaver; special cats, Summer, Angel, and Neko; and many extended friends and family members.
