Allison Everett Drown, 86, of Salisbury passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021, at Anchorage Nursing Home in Salisbury, Maryland. He was born on September 28, 1935, in North Troy, Vermont, a son of the late Lyle Grant Drown and Gwendolyn Place Drown. Allison proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force before going to work at the Dupont Company in Seaford from which he retired. He also had a bachelor's degree in theology and earned three additional theological certificates from various learning institutions throughout the years. His faith was especially important to him, and he and his wife were members of Living Hope Church in Crisfield. Allison loved to talk about the Lord to those around him, and while previously living in North Carolina he volunteered as a chaplain. He is survived by his loving wife, Lacy C. Drown; sons from his previous marriage, Rick Drown and Alan Drown (Paula); and grandsons, Paul, Alex, and Tyler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth Drown; and a brother, Lyle G. A graveside service for family and friends will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury.
