PITTSVILLE- Alex E. "Sonny" Bradford, age 70, of Pittsville, died Friday, December 1, 2006 at Maryland General Hospital in Baltimore. He was born on November 9, 1936, a son of the late Ed and Emilie Bradford. Sonny, as he was known by family and friends, worked several years training Thoroughbred horses and later as a truck driver. He leaves three children, Bill and his wife Vicky of Pittsville, Patti and her fiancé' Wayne of Pittsville and Tammy and her husband Bill of Delmar; six grandchildren, Matt, David, Aaron, Nathan, Emilie and Amber; two great grandchildren; and a brother, Dr. David Bradford of Berlin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, a brother, Billy Bradford, preceded him in death. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove Street, Delmar, where family and friends may call from 10 to 11:00.
