Albert Pinkoski, age 88, died on Thursday, April 12, 2007, after a short illness. He was born November 4, 1918, in Superior, Wisconsin, a son of the late Alex Pinkoski and Anna Mastrian. A former resident of Delmar, Delaware, he lived in Ft. Meyers, Florida and Muncie, Indiana. He was a World War II Navy Veteran and was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary and the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Pinkoski had worked for the Dupont Company and National Cash Register. He is survived by his wife Maybelle Pinkoski; son, Daniel Pinkoski of Georgetown, Texas; daughter, Claudia Ehmke of Syracuse, New York; daughter, Alexis Pinkoski of Mardela Springs, Maryland; son, James Pinkoski; six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove Street, Delmar. Interment will follow the services at St. Stephens Cemetery in Delmar.
