Albert William "Bill" Brown, 61, of Delmar, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at PRMC in Salisbury, Maryland. He was born on February 12, 1958 in Baltimore, Maryland, a son of Bobbie Eloise Brown of South Carolina and the late William Peter "Pete" Brown. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be greatly missed by his family. Bill loved God and was a faithful member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Salisbury where he served as a lay counselor, a leader within the Celebrate Recovery ministry, and was a vital member of the church family. He was an avid reader and a fan of the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 40 years, Brenda Moore Brown of Delmar; children, Benjamin Lucas "Luke" Brown (Shelley) of South Carolina, Jonathan Allen Brown (Alicea) of Delaware, Jamison Todd Brown (Angie) of Colorado, and Bethany Joy Brown of Minnesota; grandchildren, Mila, Liam, Xander, and Hadley Brown; siblings, Philip "Phil" Brown (Gail) of Missouri, Judy Travers (Jeff) of Brazil, and Susan Brown Rogers of South Carolina; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog "Pebbles." A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Short Funeral Home in Delmar. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm and one hour prior to the service on Sunday. Pastor Gordon Nock will officiate.
