DELMAR- Adeline (Ida) Fuhrer, 90, of Delmar, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2012, surrounded by her loving family, She was born on February 11, 1922 in Jamestown, NY, the daughter of the late Joseph Bellomo and Mary Calavitta Triglia. Adeline will be remembered as a devout Catholic who had a close relationship with God. She was a long time member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Delmar and loved to help with the many spaghetti dinners. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and was especially close to her great-granddaughters, Paige and Anna Webster. She was an immaculate housekeeper, who loved to cook and sew for others. She is survived by her two daughters, Dorothy Elliott and her husband, Ronnie and Mary Webster and her husband, Bill; four grandchildren, Ryan Webster, Rhonda Ross and her husband, Dominic, Renee Mair and her husband, Jeff and Ronnie Elliott; 4 great-grandchildren, Paige, Anna, Darrien and Josie; 2 sisters-in-law, Carmella Bellomo and Linda Triglia; many nieces and nephews, including Tony Triglia, who was like a son to her; and Rhonda Evans, a long-time friend to her and the family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Fuhrer, eleven brothers and sisters and three step-brothers. The family wishes to thank the staff at Delmar Nursing and Rehab Center for their care and kindness. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, P.O. Box 31, Delmar, DE 19940. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 23, 2012 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Delmar, with a visitation one hour before the service.
