Addie "Anna" M. Thompson, 85, of Salisbury, passed away Monday, December 15, 2014 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. She was born on August 9, 1929 in Cambridge, a daughter of the late Oliver L. Nichols and Addie Mae Calloway. Anna attended the Impact Church in Fruitland. She is survived by two daughters, Marie Layton Mitchell and her husband Stan and Lillian Taylor and her husband Robert all of Salisbury; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a cousin Bobby Lee Phillips of Delmar. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Docky "Doc" Thompson. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 19, 2014 at Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove Street in Delmar. A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. Pastor Wayne Parsons will officiate. Interment will follow the service at Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron. Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Home in Delmar.
