Edith Mae Kenney, 87, of Seaford, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Seaford Genesis. She was born July 5, 1926 in Salisbury, Maryland. Edith will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by a son, Charles E. Kenney; three daughters, Deborah Steele, Lillian Bailey, and Shirley Burtelle (James); grandchildren, Robin LeCates (Keith), Penelope Johnson (Chris), Sherrie Dolby, Dawn Steele, Danny Steele, and Jessica Spicer; and great-grandchildren, Zachary LeCates, Ashleigh Steele, Veronica Dolby, and Gabrielle Tull. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Charles William Kenney. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at The Ark in Seaford.
